Darlene Sweeney, Volunteer Coordinator for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Indianapolis, will address the July Catholic Business Exchange. Her topic will be St. Vincent de Paul: Changing Times…Changing Lives.
Darlene is responsible for managing hundreds of regular SVdP volunteers in addition to scheduling volunteer groups from area schools, universities, corporations, churches, and youth groups. Previously, she was the volunteer recruiter at SVdP in South Bend and owned her own destination management company in Lake Tahoe for almost 10 years.
The event is Friday morning, July 19, at the Northside Events and Social Club. Mass starts at 7 a.m., and the program will be finished by 9 a.m. Cost for the program includes a great breakfast and is $15 in advance for members and $21 for non-members. Registration is required. The Catholic Business Exchange is a fun way for Catholic men and women to share their common faith and interest in business. The group meets the third Friday of each month for Mass, networking, breakfast, and a featured speaker.
