Jim and his wife, Diana, have 3 sons and 5 grandchildren. They are members of St. Elizabeth Seton in Carmel, Indiana. Jim is also an alumnus of Kent State University where he obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Jim retired last year from his position as President and CEO of the Easter Seals Crossroads Rehabilitation Center in Indianapolis, where he worked for almost 33 years. Soon after retiring, Jim became involved with SVdP. He has been overwhelmed by the commitment of so many in the mission of the organization as well as the many different programs dedicated to those in need.
Jim’s other professional experiences include Chairs of the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Indiana Interagency Coordinating Council on Infants and Toddlers. He was also a recipient of the prestigious “Sagamore of the Wabash”–– an honorary award given to those individuals who have rendered distinguished service to the state or the Governor.
